Tobin Bridge/Chelsea Curves Rehabilitation Project
View allThe Maurice J. Tobin Memorial Bridge and Chelsea Viaduct are being repaired to keep both structures safe and in service for travelers on U.S. Route 1
To reduce travel impacts for people that cross the bridge and viaduct in cars and buses, MassDOT is coordinating work on both structures.
MassDOT began work requiring significant traffic impacts including 24/7 lane closures on April 1, 2019.
